
ISLAMABAD: The private housing schemes in Islamabad are lauding the efforts of the Chairman of Capital Development Authority’s (CDA) Clean and Green Initiative, as they increase their participation in CDA’s Green Fund.
This initiative is directed at promoting corporate social responsibility and contributing towards a greener Islamabad.
As part of this initiative, various housing societies in Islamabad submitted cheques to participate in CDA’s Green Fund, including a cheque of PKR 20 million from Capital Enclave, which was donated by Afzal Motors.
The amount will be utilized to purchase 12,000 litre water bowsers.
Furthermore, CBR Housing Society also donated PKR 20 million, while Makkah City contributed a tractor to the fund.
Similarly, the owners of several other cooperative housing societies, including Margalla View Housing Scheme, Zaraj Housing Scheme, Bahria Town, FECHS, and Senate Employs Cooperative Housing Society, have also promised to participate in CDA’s Green Fund, which is aimed at promoting a sustainable and eco-friendly environment in Islamabad.
