Punjab Govt earmarks Rs1.46bn for Rawalpindi’s Kutchery Chowk, Ring Road Project

RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Director General, Saif Anwar Jappa announced that the provincial government of Punjab has allocated Rs 1.46 billion for two ongoing projects.

According to sources, the two projects include the reconstruction of Kutchery Chowk and the Rawalpindi Ring Road.

The projects have been approved for the welfare of the masses with the aim to ease traffic congestion in the city.

Moreover, the civic authority is to receive approval from the Election Commission of Pakistan before commencing work on the project.
