
RAWALPINDI: On the directives of Chief Minister Punjab, the authorities have started fresh alignment of the Rawalpindi Ring Road (RRR) project, informed Commissioner Rawalpindi Syed Gulzar Hussain Shah while briefing the Punjab Chief Secretary.
The meeting held via video link was attended by Director Development Nazia Sadhan, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Captain (R) Qasim Ijaz, Azizullah, RDA deputy director and a large number of other relevant government officials
The CS directed the authorities to submit PC-1 alternate proposals along with cost estimates within the same budget, at their earliest.
The RRR project is aimed not only at averting the traffic congestion in the garrison city, but also generating economic activity.
