Peshawar: In the supervision of Special Magistrate Railway, illegal encroachments on both sides of the railway line were cleared off University Road.
The demolished structures include 48 shops which have resulted in retrieval of 48 acres of commercial railways land worth Rs0.3 billion. Posting of railways police ensured smooth implementation of anti-encroachment operation.
Action has been taken as a result of failure to comply with prior sent notices to respective shopkeepers.
