
ISLAMABAD: Director General (DG) Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), on Tuesday, allocated Rs 1,984 million of the Rs 2,379 million budget for fiscal year 2021-22 towards current and new uplift schemes.
According to sources, the decision was made during a meeting under the chairmanship of Director General (DG) RDA. The Finance Sub-Committee consisted of P&D, Finance, HUD and PHE Departments.
As per details, the ongoing projects include construction of three bridges at Airport Road worth Rs69 million and construction of Dry Port Road worth Rs50 million. Furthermore, Rs300 million have been earmarked for the Defense Chowk improvement project and Rs20 million have been allocated for construction of Lai Expressway.
