
RAWALPINDI: Engineering Directorate Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) completed the carpeting of Qadeer Khan Road from Islamabad Highway to Falcon Complex on the direction of Director General (DG) RDA Capt (R) Abdul Sattar Issani on Thursday.
According to an official, Rs 40 million were released for the project by the Government of Punjab while the remaining amount of Rs86 million were to be released in June 2021. However, the amount was released in March 2021 to speed up the project for the facilitation of the masses.
On the direction of DG RDA, the construction work was accelerated so it could be made functional for commuting on Qadeer Khan Road.
