Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has intensified its operation against illegal housing societies, taking swift action on Monday. The Task Force demolished offices of four illegal housing societies, along with their boundaries and main gates. The Director-General of RDA stated that the office bearers of these societies were running their operations in violation of the law.
The unauthorized housing schemes involved in this operation include Zamzama Villas, Hamwatan, Gulshan Bahar, and Bahram Villas. The operation took place in the districts of Rawalpindi, Misriot, Pelo, and Katarian. Local administration and police authorities provided significant support during this operation.
Furthermore, complaints of illegal seizures against these illegal housing societies had been received. The public has been advised not to invest in these housing schemes. Notices have also been issued to the owners and sponsors of these illegal housing schemes.
