
RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Director-General, on Wednesday, visited Ammar Chowk to inspect the progress of the remodelling project.
As per the press release, the project is expected to be completed by 2022 and will cost Rs1,307 million. The project has been initiated by the Government of Punjab in collaboration with Station Headquarters and the RDA.
Given the increasing population and traffic woes, the authorities have decided to make improvements to the project by adding twin underpasses, a new service line, undergrounding of H.T and L.T cables and reinforcing earth panels. The decision has also been taken to beautify the surrounding spaces by adding green areas.
