
ISLAMABAD: The foreign exchange inflows through the Roshan Digital Accounts (RDAs) has surged past the $1.25 billion mark as revealed by government officials.
The statistics were revealed in a webinar managed by the Habib Bank Limited (HBL) along with Pakistan High Commission Canada and the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The RDA was initiated in September 2020 to address the concerns of overseas Pakistanis and simply the banking processes like payments, and investments.
As per the SBP’s, ‘The State of Pakistan’s Economy’ report, the response is positive. Over 160,000 overseas Pakistanis have contributed around $1.25 billion from over 170 countries.
