
RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) on the directives of Director General (DG) Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa sped up the crackdown against illegal buildings.
As per an RDA official, the authority has successfully sealed three plazas and six shops for violating the rules. Moreover, three shops were demolished for not abiding by the law.
According to details, an Enforcement Squad of RDA was tasked with carrying out the operation. Buildings that were not following the laws or were unauthorised were dealt with as per the rules.
Moreover, action was taken against the violators on Bostan Khan Road, High Court Road and Gulraiz Housing Scheme.
