
RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Development Authority has launched work to develop a plan for transforming the garrison city into a tourist city.
The initiative was discussed in a meeting held at the conference room chaired by Chairman RDA Tariq Mehmood Murtaza. A proposal submitted to merge the three tehsils of Rawalpindi, namely – Murree, Kahuta and Kotli Satyan, to form a tourist district to boost tourism in the region was discussed.
