ISLAMABAD: The registration of Roshan Digital Accounts (RDA) by Pakistanis residing in Saudi Arabia has witnessed a significant increase, informed Governor State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Dr Reza Baqir.
The positive trend has come after Prime Minister Imran Khan’s recent visit to the kingdom, where he addressed the overseas business community at a ceremony arranged by RDA, in Jeddah.
He acknowledged the efforts of the expatriates for adding to Pakistan’s progress and economic development of Pakistan.
The increase in opening RDAs has positively impacted the country’s foreign exchange reserves.
Over $1 billion inflows by overseas Pakistanis were recorded last month.
