MULTAN: Commissioner Multan Javed Akhtar Mahmood on Wednesday gave a green signal to Multan Development Authority (MDA) and Metropolitan Corporation to revamp the roads of Multan.
As per the details, the renovation schemes worth Rs168mn will be utilised for the widening and renovation of the roads of Multan.
According to the details, the Metropolitan Corporation will revamp and widen 2.58km of roads worth Rs108mn from KFC Chowk to Fawara Chowk via SP Chowk and Abdali Road.
Speaking on the occasion, the commissioner said that a road development project worth Rs60mn has also been approved for revamping of roads from Ghanta Ghar to Daulat Gate and roads onwards to Shamas Abad Chowk.
The commissioner also added that different measures are being taken for the development and uplift of Multan city.
