KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) unveiled a complaint redressal portal for resolving the issues of customers, looking forward to avail the government’s mark-up subsidy scheme for affordable housing.
The Prime Minister while heading the meeting of the National Coordination Committee on Housing, Construction and Development expressed his approval over the launch of the portal.
The Prime Minister acknowledged the development of the portal with an extensive mechanism of guidance for the people interested in benefiting from the scheme.
The redressal mechanism encapsulates a live IT portal supported by the staff of SBP and commercial banks to cater to the problems of low-cost and affordable housing finance.
This groundbreaking initiative is said to include the low and middle-income strata who often find it difficult to approach the financial sector.
