Islamabad: While hearing a case on the regularisation of illegal constructions close to government institutions, the three-judge bench led by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Asif Saeed Khosa ordered Capital Development Authority (CDA) to raze down all such constructions as soon as possible.
He said, defense of the country cannot be compromised for anything and so failure to comply will have CDA face contempt proceedings.
Another bench member Justice Gulzar Ahmed has also instructed CDA to clear off the place using bulldozers while Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed said the CDA and concerned departments to carry out the implementation of orders as quickly as possible.
