
QUETTA: To overcome water scarcity issues, numerous schemes have been approved by the government under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) to build small and large dams in Zhob district, informed Adviser to Chief Minister Balochistan Mitha Khan Kakar.
While addressing a public gathering in Killi Gosa Kibzai Shamzai area of Zhob district CM’s aide acknowledged that Zhob has been facing a drought for many years. The general public was taken on-board in order to resolve people’s issues and begin the development projects in the area according to the needs of the people.
Over a period of time, the different initiative had been taken by the government to improve the healthcare and education sectors of the area.
Furthermore, the adviser also assured the gathering that through the newly approved schemes would ensure the provision of better education and employment for the youth, along with improving the quality of life.
