ISLAMABAD: A total of 227 new construction companies, out of 2101 new companies have been registered by the Security Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) during the month of January 2021.
Almost 98% of companies have been registered through an online process, With 34% of all the companies registered in a single day.
The SECP further informed that the number of companies registered is 10% more than the numbers of the same month of previous years. Other sectors that attracted the most number of companies are trading with 314 companies, IT with 269, construction, services and allied sectors attracted 188 companies, and e-commerce registered 79 companies.
SECP also added that their business centre in Islamabad marked an increase of 24% after 837 companies were registered during January 2021.
