
RAWALPINDI: The Chairman Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has said that Special Economic Zones (SEZs) in all tehsils of Rawalpindi district will be established under a modern urban planning framework.
While addressing a workshop, the chairman was of the view that RDA is formulating the ‘Rawalpindi Development Plan’ for the de-congestion of the city.
The chairman added that the plan will systemise the expansion, and will channelise the development of the city.
The development of SEZs will provide new economic opportunities to the residents of Rawalpindi and will overcome the overcrowding in the city.
