
SIALKOT: The new Sialkot-Lahore Motorway section (M-11) about 91.47km long is scheduled to be opened for the public on March 30.
The project worth around Rs44 billion will comprise of four-lanes, nine interchanges, eight flyovers, 20 bridges and 18 underpasses.
Besides reducing the commute time, the route has increased connectivity by linking M2 and N5 through Lahore link road near Kala Shah Kaku, and running simultaneous to GT Road, passing east of Kamoke, Gujranwala, Daska, Sambrial and ending at Sialkot.
In addition, the project will help boost the economic activity in the region as the route will ease the mode of transport for the delivery of exports.
The possibility of setting up three industrial zones and two universities in the future.
