
KARACHI: Murtaza Wahab, Administrator Karachi while inaugurating public parks in the Clifton, Karachi stated that the provincial government will evacuate parks, grounds, and other public spaces from the land grabbers.
While speaking on the occasion, he was of the view that the government is converting various dumping sites into playgrounds and parks for giving people better recreational facilities and to make Karachi an environment-friendly city.
A tree plantation campaign is also underway, trees are planted across the major avenues and the open spaces, he added.
The evacuation of public spaces and provision of new recreational facilities in the city is a step towards restoring the master plan of Karachi.
