MULTAN: Additional Secretary Muhammad Farooq Dogar, on Monday, announced a sponsorship initiative that will introduce Jeelani road as a model road for future development.
The development of streets and roads will take place in Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan and Bahawalpur.
The action was initiated to maintain cleanliness and encourage the involvement of the community in this matter.
Moreover, a plan has been put in place to plant trees alongside the road and deploy Waste Management Company personnel to maintain cleanliness.
Additionally, dustbins will be placed at various locations for waste disposal. Any individuals caught littering on the road will face penalties.
It has also been proposed to replicate these efforts in other cities.
The Natural Sheep Casing Association has pledged to provide full cooperation in this endeavour.
