
Islamabad: In continuation of the anti-encroachment drive in Sector E-12, another 500 kanals of state land has been retrieved by the Capital Development Authority (CDA).
A total of 186 rooms, 26 boundary walls were demolished with the use of heavy machinery.
Participating officers in the operation included staff from Enforcement Directorate, officers of ICT Administration, Land and Rehabilitation Directorate and Islamabad Police.
For the resolution of compensation issues for locals, a camp office of Land and Rehabilitation Directorate has also been setup in Sector E-12.
