Rawalpindi: Over 230 permanent encroachments have been identified within 13 urban housing schemes of RDA. It also includes under occupation state land worth millions.
The respective surveys were carried out on the directives of RDA Chairman Arif Abbasi,
The housing schemes identified in the survey report include Sherpao Housing Scheme Committee Chowk, Millat Colony, Asghar Mall Scheme, Saeed Pur Scheme, Eid Gah Scheme, Mohan Pur Scheme and more.
A third party survey will be planned next in order to initiate action against illegal constructions and occupation groups.
