
LAHORE: Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on Thursday directed the Irrigation Department to expedite the construction process for timely construction of Dadhocha Dam.
In a surprise visit to Dharabi Lake in Chakwal, the CM inspected the measures implemented to promote tourism in the area. Speaking on the occasion, he informed of his vision to develop Dharabi Lake as a tourist spot. He told that a rest-house would be constructed along with link roads. He also informed that an amount of Rs80 million has been allocated to develop a resort at the lake along with link roads.
The project director briefed the Chief Minister regarding the headway made on the dam.
After completing the visit, CM Buzdar also took an aerial view of Dadhocha Dam. He directed the officials of the provincial irrigation department to ensure on-time completion of the dam to fulfil the promise of the provision of clean drinking water to the citizens.
