Faisalabad: As a result of sales tax imposition, the traders had observed a shutter down strike in the eight Clock Towers Bazaars of Faisalabad for July 8 and 9 given by the Anjuman-i-Tajran supreme council.
The traders express the challenges that the current budget has put them into. They have demanded of a level playing field for competing internationally.
The strike has been called off today after the meeting of Aslam Bhulli, the patron-in-chief of local chapter of the Anjuman with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) chairman Mr Shabbar Zaidi.
