MIRPUR: Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) Chairman Lt Gen Muzammil Hussain (Retd), on Thursday, visited Diamer Basha Dam and Dasu Hydropower Project to assess progress on the two mega projects.

According to the officials, the chairman was informed that construction work is underway. 

WAPDA Chairman informed that despite the Covid-19 pandemic, the construction work is at a fast pace. 

Moreover, he advised the project authorities to make sure that they achieve major construction milestones conforming to the set timelines.
