The development work was initiated after Chairman CDA Amer Ali Ahmed visited the project site, and was briefed on the plan by the relevant authorities.

Director Machinery Pool Organisation (MPO), Director of Environment Protection and other relevant officials were also present on the occasion.

The expansion plan is directed at converting the F-10 Service Road (East) into a signal-free road to avert traffic congestion issues and avoid traffic accidents in Sector F-10.

“No trees will be cut, rather more trees will be planted”, tweeted Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Hamza Shafqaat.

The relevant officials, with the help of the Department of MPO, have been ordered timely completion of the project, along with ensuring quality work as well.
