LAHORE: Punjab Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Director-General Gohar Nafees revealed that around 70% of Lahore is unlawfully constructed.
Over 7,000 complaints filed out of a total of 28,756 are related to revue, he further added. The department has yet to take a position on how to resolve the problem.
The administration of land rules and maintenance of record is a significant function of the board and every fourth application submitted to ACE during the current year was related to the Punjab Board of Revenue (BoR).
Since December last year, ACE has recovered Rs28.77 billion, including Rs21.56 billion in state land.
