The authorities have been notified to submit a progress report of the actions taken on January 16. Failing to do so will be documented as contempt of court. The permitted acts may also include sealing of the site and imposing a fine on the owners of the society.

The authorities instructed to take action include Deputy Commissioner (DC), Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) and Rawalpindi Municipal Corporation (RMC).
The order has also been extended against violation of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) by the housing schemes. Extending the radar further, action will also be taken against housing societies that do not award possession on time.

This order of the court came after reviewing the available records with the administration and when an increasing number of cases were reported by people.
