CDA allocates Rs495 million for water supply projects

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has allocated a sum of Rs495 million for various water supply projects.

Under the initiative aimed at providing clean drinking water to the citizens, the respective authority will carry out repair and maintenance work including replacement and installation of new pipelines, tube wells, and water tankers.

So far, to restore water supply, the Water Department of CDA has repaired multiple tube wells in F-6 F-7, F-8, F-10, G-6, G-7, G-8, G-9, G-10, G-10/3, G-11, H-9, H-10, I-9, I-10, Humk Town, Rawal Dam, Poona Faqiran and other areas by repairing tube wells. In addition, the authority also carried out work to repair 12 faulty water filtration plants.

Currently, repair work on water lines in Sector I-9, I-10, G-11, F-11 and F-10 is also being done by CDA.
