ISLAMABAD: After a time period of 32 years, the Capital Development Authority(CDA) has decided to work on the development of sector E-12.

According to the details, CDA has started to compensate the locals and has allotted 162 of the approximately 1,200 villagers the alternative plots through balloting by the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra).

Moreover, 4,000 people would finally acquire possession of developed plots in E-12 after a long wait.

This has set the path for a resolution to the long-running impasse that had stymied development in the long stagnated sector. Officials with the CDA indicated that after clearing payments to people, the civic body could easily take possession of the entire sector and begin future development.
