
ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority’s (CDA) Chairman, Noor Ul Amin Mengal, on Thursday, announced the establishment of Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) along with other development projects.
As per a press release, the civic authority has also approved the establishment of a Solid Waste Management Agency to improve the sanitation system in the federal capital.
In addition, the NUST School of Civil and Environmental Engineering will be employed to undertake surveying and mapping of Islamabad.
Among other things approved is the adoption of PM package in which the children of people who died during service will be given permanent employment. Also, Islamabad Transport Directorate will be made a member wing.
