CDA issues notice to housing societies on encroached govt land

ISLAMABAD: On behalf of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), the Federal Development Agency (FDA) has issued 1135 notices to the housing societies for encroaching government land, demanding a reply within 7 days.

The notices issued to residential societies include National Police Foundation Employees Operative Housing Society, Pakistan Medical Operative Housing Society, Sohan Operative Housing Society, CBRCO Operative Housing Society, PWD Operative Housing Society and others.

The societies have been notified to submit a reply within 7 days, after which the structures will be demolished to relinquish all government land.
