ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has introduced its 1BILL service, prompting the residents of Islamabad to pay bills including water charges, property taxes, etc. through mobile and internet banking.
The press release issued by CDA stated that residents of Islamabad can access this service using the internet services of One Link banks, or by downloading their mobile applications. For the payment of property tax, citizens will have to add ‘122001’before adding the property tax consumer number, and for depositing water bills the consumers will include ‘122002’ prior to the consumer number given by CDA.
Chairman CDA Amer Ali Ahmed was of the view that 1BILL service will increase CDA’s transparency and efficiency CDA, promoting Ease of Doing Business.
