ISLAMABAD: The Engineering Wing of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has been ordered to operationalise the Rawal Dam Flyover for traffic by the end of January 2022.
This directive came after Chairman CDA visited the site to monitor the project’s progress.
All concerned authorities, including SSP Traffic Islamabad, have been directed to accommodate the commuters by ensuring a smooth traffic flow while the work is in progress.
On the other hand, the civic agency has also launched the construction of the one-kilometre long plastic road on Ataturk Avenue. For this, 170 tons of plastic waste will be used to construct a durable and robust road.
