CDA to include residents in clean and green Islamabad campaign

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA), Amer Ali Ahmed has informed that the civic authority will include citizens in the clean and green Islamabad campaign.
According to the details, the residents of Islamabad will be sensitized and will be compelled to plant trees in the various areas of the capital.
The decision was taken in the meeting of the ‘Clean and Green Islamabad’ board chaired by Chairman CDA. It was decided that trees will be planted on roadsides, intersections, and green belts to make Islamabad beautiful.
In the meeting, the chairman directed the relevant authority to conduct a survey of vacant lands so that trees can be planted at those locations.
