ISLAMABAD: In a meeting chaired by Deputy Chairman Planning Commission on Thursday, Central Development Working Party (CDWP) approved three development projects worth Rs55.5bn.
According to the details, the meeting reviewed the establishment of an IT Park worth Rs31.2bn in Karachi and recommended ECNEC for approval.
Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) aims to establish the IT Park using financial assistance from Korean Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF) and Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP).
Furthermore, the meeting also approved the establishment of a Cancer Hospital in Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir worth Rs3.4bn.
Similarly, the meeting also recommended ECNEC for the approval of health projects worth Rs20.8bn of the Sindh Government.
