ISLAMABAD: Development projects worth Rs 8 billion were inaugurated by Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Usman Buzdar in Faisalabad.

He inaugurated 11 main city road projects – repaired for Rs3.11 billion, 19 projects of sewerage and water supply worth Rs 4 billion, a building at the Child Protection & Welfare Bureau (CPWB) worth Rs210 million, the upgraded Rural Health Centre Khurrianwala worth Rs 200 million, 15 dispensaries worth 110 million, and 25 projects of the education department worth Rs160 million.

In addition, the CM announced construction and upgradation of 5 roads under the Rural Access Programme worth Rs 300 million along with repair and maintenance of Model Bazar Jhang Road worth Rs 180 million.

The events were attended by State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Mr. Farrukh Habib, Provincial Minister for Public Prosecution Mr. Chaudhry Zaheeruddin, MNA Sheikh Khurram Shehzad and Raja Riaz Ahmad, MPA Chaudhry Ali Akhtar Khan and MPA Adil Parvaiz Gujjar, Divisional Commissioner Zahid Hussain, CPO Dr. Abid Khan and RPO Imran Mehmood.
