KARACHI: A sum of Rs1.37 billion was approved by Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah to reconstruct all the untended roads of Sindh Industrial Trading Estate (SITE) Ltd in Karachi.
The reconstruction of roads will be carried out under the Karachi megaproject.
The decision was taken in a meeting held with the delegation of SITE Association including Zubair Motiwala, Suleman Chawla, Farhan Ashrafi, Jawed Bilwani, Saleem Parekh, Abdul Hadi and Abdul Rasheed. Provincial Ministers Saeed Ghani, Jam Ikram Dharejo, Nasir Shah, Advisor Law Murtaza Wahab and others, led by Siraj Kassam Teli here at CM House.
In addition, the authorities have been directed to transfer the collection of property tax to SITE Ltd.
The funds will be utilized to develop the SITE area.
