Islamabad: While addressing a delegation from the Cornell University, President Dr Arif Alvi highlighted the people-centric agenda for the socio-economic development of Pakistan.
The socio-economic reforms were targeted towards sustainable growth. As a result employment opportunities for youth will be created. Potential for regional trade, post completion of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is one such example.
The President also discussed Pakistan’s liberalized open door policy as an opportunity for welcoming investors. In regards to this, United Sates (US) can explore tremendous business opportunities in the country. This would not only uplift Pak-US relations economically but also promote peace and knowledge about the diaspora of Pakistani culture.
