Peshawar: The District Council Peshawar passed a Rs12.48 billion budget for the financial year 2019-20, including Rs1.47 billion for the city’s development projects. The budget was presented by District Nazim Mohammad Asim Khan.
Out of the total budget of Rs12.48 billion, Rs11.75 billion will be received from the Provincial Finance Commission Award, Rs630 million from local funds and Rs80 million will be pulled from the district council grants.
