ISLAMABAD: In a cabinet meeting chaired by the Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue of Economic Coordination Committee (ECC), the committee ratified the revised eligibility criteria for houses under Naya Pakistan Housing Development Authority (NAPHDA).
As per the details, Chairman NAPHDA put forth the revised eligibility criteria in the cabinet meeting which was approved by ECC after due discussion for the construction of 100,000 housing units.
Under the renewed eligibility criteria, changes have been made to selection criteria of applicants, modalities for payment of cost subsidy, and release of funds.
Furthermore, ECC advised the NAPHDA to provide housing at affordable rates to the low-income strata of the society as per the vision of the Prime Minister.
