Exports grow by 7pc in first three quarters of FY (20-21)

ISLAMABAD: According to the data released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), the exports of Pakistan grew by 7.12pc during the first three-quarters of FY (20-21).

As per the data, the value of exports is recorded at $18.6bn for the July-March period of the current fiscal year as compared to the exports of $17.4bn of the same period of the last fiscal year.

On the basis of yearly data, the exports of Pakistan have increased by 30.4pc till the month of March as compared to the exports in the same month of last year.

On the import side, the value of imports for the first three quarters of the current fiscal year is recorded at $39.5bn showing an increase of 13.57pc as compared to the value of $34.7bn of the same period of last year.
