Foreign investors given incentives in Quetta Development Package

Quetta: In a review meeting on work pace for development projects launched under the Quetta Development Package, Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Alyani shared confidence on the project’s ability to attract local and foreign investors to setup industries in varied sectors of Balochistan.

While briefing the meeting, Project Director of QDP, Commissioner Quetta Usman Ali Khan said that expansion of the airport and 1.5km of the Joint Road will reach completion after Eid.

Moreover CM also gave a go ahead to facilities for Liaquat Park, Satellite Town Ladies Park, Sadiq Shaheed Park, Benazir Park and green belt for Airport Road including the construction of sports complexes.

Head of the Pakistan Poverty End Fund Semi Kamal also discussed with CM the initiatives for poverty reduction in Balochistan on which the CM ensured task force induction for boosting economic and social activities through joint initiatives.

The meeting was attended by Provincial advisers Naeem Khan Bazai and Abdul Khaliq Hazara, MPA Abdul Qadir Nail and CM’s special assistant Arbab Farooq Kasi.
