According to details, Rs 1000 million have been earmarked for the operationalisation of 25.6-km long Metro Bus Service from Peshawar Morr to Islamabad International Airport. The funds have been approved in the federal budget for fiscal year 2021-22. 

The project was first approved by the PML-N government in 2017 at a cost of Rs16 billion. The construction work is near completion while its operationalisation is yet to begin. It has been handed over by National Highways Authority (NHA) to Capital Development Authority (CDA). 

According to details, government has also approved funds for ongoing projects including Rs167 million for sanitation, water supply and  sewerage of ICT, Rs500 million for uplift work in Rawal Town,  Sohan,  Noorpur, Chack Shahzad, Saidpur,, Malpur etc, Rs3000 million for 10th Avenue Project,  Rs500 million for sanitation and road projects in Mara Sumbal, Mara Jaffar, Union Council Bokra, Jhangi Sayyedan, Bhandana Kalan and Shah Allah Ditta etc. 

Funds have also been approved for development of dams, educational institutes  and solar systems.
