Provincial Minister for Baitul Maal Syed Yawar Bukhari and Dr. Palitha Mahipala (Country Head of WHO) were invited as Honours guests. First Lady Mrs. Samina Alvi, Presidents of all Chambers of Punjab, political figures, MNAs and MPAs were among the event attendees held at the Governor House.

While speaking on occasion, the First Lady, Mrs. Samina Alvi, stressed inclusion and opportunities for differently-abled persons.

The event was held to ensure accessibility and mobility of the persons with disabilities to include them in the mainstream of society.
