ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) has initiated the beautification of Islamabad with lighting green belts at various markets and frequently visited destinations.
According to details, trees and green belts were lit up under the “Light up Islamabad” initiative to beautify the capital.
As per a senior CDA official, the beautification lights have been installed on Srinagar Highway along with other green patches.
As per the details, the project is carried out in collaboration with the private sector. The civic agency has promoted the project on its social media networking sites like Facebook and have also posted a two-minute short video on its official page highlighting the lit-up green belt.
The initiative was earlier launched by CDA in collaboration with Graana.com to beautify the federal capital
