Hospitality Industry – Opportunities & Benefits to Pakistan Economy

The hospitality sector makes a significant contribution to Pakistan’s emerging economy by creating direct and indirect employment possibilities in more than 40 to 50 related industries, including steel, cement and other small and medium-sized manufacturing businesses.

Following the opening of hotels, the hospitality sector creates more jobs at all levels, from entry-level jobs for unskilled labourers to executive positions. Furthermore, the hospitality sector has also opened up different investment avenues, thanks to its global tourism potential.

Lastly, taxes levied on construction investment are also a source of income for the government in the form of applicable taxes.

By delivering these projects, Marriott will be able to cater to all these opportunities, providing considerable benefits to Pakistan’s economy, including employment generation, profitable investment avenues and government tax collection.

IMARAT x Marriott

In the past, IMARAT Group of Companies has partnered up with Marriott and delivered 3 projects to promote the hospitality and tourism industry of Pakistan. One such project is Residence Inn by Marriott, Islamabad.

Prepped up to start service by July 2023, Residence Inn by Marriott Islamabad is part of a mixed-use development situated in DHA phase II. It offers 100 suites and studios – all with separate living, working, and sleeping zones and equipped with fully functional kitchens.

The 144-room Courtyard by Marriott Islamabad is another project that will be situated on the main highway linking the city’s core and diplomatic district with the airport.

Four Points by Sheratoraton is the third project that is ideally located on the prime residential and commercial route of Faisal Avenue Islamabad Expressway.

Courtyard by Marriott Project in DHA Multan

IMARAT Group and Marriott International have entered into a franchise agreement, in a bid to construct another Marriott project; Courtyard by Marriott. The signing event was held in the Dubai office of Marriott International.

For more than 35 years, Courtyard by Marriott has been committed to fostering an atmosphere of contemporary luxe and comfort. For ambitious and enterprising travellers who view business travel as a catalyst for both personal fulfilment and professional development, Courtyard is the hotel brand of choice.

Being South Punjab’s cultural and economic hub, Multan is anticipated to be the perfect location for Courtyard by Marriott. The new partnership between Imarat and Marriott International intends to supply the market with high-quality lodging, ensuring quality and comfort follow wherever the journey may take you.
