ISLAMABAD: The federal capital is all set to receive a low-cost traffic management plan for streamlining the flow of traffic, informed the Capital Develop Authority (CDA).
The project is aimed at ensuring the smooth flow of traffic during rush-hours.
The project is said to be launched within a week through Machinery and Pool Organization (MPO).
Moreover, the CDA has vowed to use its own capabilities and resources for the completion of this project.
The disclosed plan has highlighted certain hotspots with the highest traffic flow during rush-hours. In the initial phase, the work will be started on Nazimuddin Road, 7th Avenue, and Serena Chowk for smooth flow of traffic. The project includes the provision of service lanes and extension of existing lanes of the identified points.
