Key Officials Removed from CDA After Election Commission's Notice

Islamabad: After the Election Commission’s third notice, a significant development took place in Islamabad. Following Cabinet Division’s approval, the Establishment Division removed two board members of the Federal Development Authority (CDA).

Syed Mazhar Hussain Shah, a Grade 19 officer from the Land Revenue Service, was serving as a member of the Finance CDA, while Waseem Hayat Bajwa, a Grade 20 officer from the Land Revenue Service, was serving as a member of the Planning and Design Services. They have been instructed to report back to their respective departments in the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

It’s worth noting that after the Election Commission’s third notice, the Chairman CDA and the Ministry of Interior took action. The Ministry of Interior obtained approval from the federal cabinet to return both officers to their original positions. Following this, the Establishment Division has issued formal notifications for the return of both officers.
